SECOND ANNUAL BACK TO FRONT

In our daily goal to give you something different and make Compact Rock the most unique show on the radio, we have started the yearly tradition of the Back to Front album spin.

How I look at this show, artists set up track lists and album order based on the story that they want to tell with their music. I know that as a musician, I ordered my albums and set lists to take the listener on a journey. However, what if you could turn that on its ear, and listen to an album backwards. Sometimes, that will give the album a completely separate meaning. So that is where Back To Front was born.

Last year we did the S.C.I.E.N.C.E. album from Incubus. This year we are going with the Vs. album from Pearl Jam. We are playing the reissue, because there are some extra tracks on it. Also there will be a few live versions of songs sprinkled in there. This is the track list of this show.
