COMPACT ROCK

Hey everyone,

 

We have done it. 300 episodes of Compact Rock. We have just hit our 300'th episode.

 

I could not have done it without all your support. I thank you all. I will have new merch in the next few months.

 

We also have our other features coming up. We have our Thanksgiving show of all covers. That will be on Thanksgiving night. Also, we have our Back To Front. That will be on New Years Day and will be exclusive to our SoundCloud page. At the beginning of October, we will have our poll come out that will ask you what band that you want to be the back to front artist this year. And then we will ask you in November what album from that band that you want. Also we have our 6th anniversary show and that will be coming up December 4. There is also our monthly 90's night at Singers Karaoke Club. Check out or FB for more info on that. 

 

For the Back To Front Album spin. Go to the contact page on the site to get the link. Also on that page, we have all of the ways to contact us. So make sure that you check that out.

Also if you go to our From The Garage Facebook and Instagram accounts, you will see our top 20 local artists of 2025 coming up here soon. That is based on feedback, spins and general feeling. It was hard to break that down, as there were SO MANY great releases this year. If you are not on the list, don't worry, your release kicks ASS! It was just the top 20 that we had based on a few factors. Go check that out. We will have a show of our top artist of 2025 on the first show on 2026, which happens to be New Years Day.

Be watching the site here in the near future, as we are doing a complete overhaul of the local music section of the site. That will also be reflected on our social media platforms.

​This week we launch a new, exciting collaboration. In conjunction with Singers Karaoke Club in Solvay, NY, we are doing a 90's night. We will have a mystery band every week that you can sing and be entered into a raffle for a 25 dollar gift card for Singers. The only thing is that you will not know the band that we picked until you sign them. We will have drink specials, and a lot of fun. We will do this last Thursday of every month. Singers can be found at 1345 Milton Ave. in Solvay NY if you are interested.

 

More news, we now have hats available. Go to the "fun" section of the site to see those, and then reach out if you are interested. They are 20 dollars, and are all black snapbacks.

One more thing, Thursday, September 4, we celebrate 300 episodes of Compact Rock! I am SPARTA! Make sure you check in as we get closer for more information on that, and a possible giveaway for that as well.
