LOCAL SPOTLIGHT
Exclusively on SoundCloud. Every other Friday and dropping at 12 Noon. We will feature a local original band from somewhere in New York State. We will play an album in full, front to back, and unedited. Below you will see a picture of the album and a link to where you can listen to it.
If you are a local band, and want to send me music, I want to link it. Then you can go to the Local section of our site here and find the band that you are listening to. And then you can get yourself introduced to some new music. Exclusively on SoundCloud.

FROM THE GARAGE: ON TOUR!
Recently I have announced another excellent way for From The Garage to be one of the most interactive shows in all of New York for local radio. We are taking the show on the road. No...not literally, but figuratively.
Throughout August and September, we will go On Tour. Starting with the show on August 6, and going all the way through our homecoming show on September 24, we are focusing on the entirety of New York State. On the dates below, we will be playing all songs from a specific city and their artists. We will start in Ithaca, and head west to Buffalo, then we will go east to Albany and head back toward Syracuse. We will stop in the North Country and the Southern Tier and then finish in our hometown. For that homecoming show on September 24, I will be playing all Syracuse bands. AND...all of those bands will have released new albums in that time, so this will be a large album release party as well for a lot of bands.
So with that being, what I need is this. I need all of your bands, and all of your favorite band, to rep your city. Tell me who I should play, and give me a few ideas of some of the best local music from all of Central New York. Let's make this tour awesome.

back2front 2027
Again this year, we will be doing our yearly Back2Front album spin. That will drop on New Years Day, at 12 noon, and exclusively on SoundCloud. on SoundCloud. We will take an album from a 90's band and play the album from the last track (including secret tracks) right through to the first track. The complete opposite as to how the artist wanted you to hear it. But, how do we decide what album will be played. THAT is where YOU come into the equation.
If you click on the picture alone, that will take you to a link, where you can choose the band that we play. That voting will go until November 1. Then until December 20, we will take that band and give you the album options for you to play. Then, on New Years Day, we will play that album.
Back2Front 2027, another way to make sure that Compact Rock is the MOST interactive show in all of radio!
