It was yet another excellent week of Compact Rock, but would you expect ANYTHING less? I didn't think so! As we proceed to give you what you need, let your troubles slide away and listen to some great 90's music. We do what we always do here. We give you exactly what you want. One thing does not change, no matter what, and that is that we are getting better every week. Aging like a fine wine. Always giving you the Thursday Night Rock Delight! This week for the Randomizer, we called on Shawn from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and in the Local Orange Peel you will find music from Syracuse, NY band Plastic Sunface.

The Lemonheads - Mrs. Robinson

Jane's Addiction - Mountain Song

Counting Crows - Mr. Jones

Guns N' Roses - November Rain

R.E.M. - Losing My Religion

Moby - Bodyrock

Incubus - Stellar

HOUR TWO:

Plastic Sunface - Purgatory

Plastic Sunface - Play Me Broken

Hoobstank - Out Of Control

Saliva - Click, Click, Boom

Fuel - Jesus Or A Gun

Stone Temple Pilots - Plush

Alice In Chains - Again

The Living End - Prisoner Of Society (Live)

ZZ Top - Breakaway

Lenny Kravitz - Fly Away

The Nixons - Head

Kenny Wayne Shepherd - Blue On Black

Warren Zevon - Desperados Under The Eaves

On a personal note. This past week, we in the music community lost a great and prolific musician. Mark Lanegan, Lanegan was the front man for the Screaming Trees, and also played for almost a decade and a half with Queens Of The Stone Age. He was a part of the Mad Season album Above, and even had Kurt Cobain sing backup vocals on his solo debut. Lanegan was extremely proficient and worked right up until his passing. He is a huge loss in the music industry, and for 90's rock lovers around the world. R.I.P. Mark!

Aside from Counting Crows, Guns N' Roses and R.E.M, Shawn also chose songs from Boyz II Men and Montell Jordan. If you want to be a part of the show, you can go to The Randomizer section of the site for more information on that. Follow us on social media, and you may become a part of the show! We will ask you to pick five songs and The Randomizer will pick three of those to play for you. As always, we appreciate you listening. Another year, the same great Compact Rock every week for. Come back next week, and all throughout 2022, as we continue to give you what you need.
